Georgetown Lutheran Church Fellowship
Personal, Inclusive, Spiritual
Georgetown Lutheran Church Fellowship offers students of the ELCA and other Lutheran affiliations opportunities to strengthen one's faith through pastoral care, Bible and non-biblical issue studies, the Eucharist and prayer.
We are an inclusive religious organization. We welcome people of all ethnicity, cultures and sexual orientations.
Each Sunday, Georgetown Lutheran Church offers three worship services to enhance one's spirituality. In addition to these services, open forums relating to spirituality are held throughout the year on and off-campus.
Stewardship/Outreach
Students, faculty and staff are invited to join us in helping those less fortunate than us through our outreach programs. We assist the Georgetown Ministry Center in their endeavors to aid homeless persons become more productive citizens. We offer food assistance to the needy through the G.R.A.T.E. Patrol Charity, a subsidiary of the Salvation Army. And, we serve the hungry, the lonely, and the homeless each Thanksgiving Eve a nutritious meal. We are expanding our outreach to the community in 2009 by joining forces with Habitat for Humanity by building a home in Southeast D.C.
