Elizabeth-Jane McGuire

Elizabeth-Jane McGuire is a Chaplain-in-Residence in Reynolds Hall. She is currently a doctoral candidate in spirituality at The Catholic University of America here in Washington, DC. In addition to serving as a chaplain, Elizabeth-Jane will be spending her year teaching in CUA's School of Theology and Religious Studies and writing her dissertation on spirituality in the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams. Any discussions on the topic are very welcome!

Elizabeth-Jane received a dual Bachelor's degree in Theology and Honors from Villanova University, a Master of Music in Sacred Music from Duquesne University, and a Master of Arts in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She has worked as the Director of Music Ministry for four years in Pittsburgh and an additional year in Mount Rainier, MD.

Elizabeth-Jane is recently married to her husband, Steve McGuire, who is a Ph.D. candidate in political theory at Catholic University. Steve and Elizabeth-Jane enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Elizabeth-Jane is a runner, while Steve (a Canadian) is an avid hockey fan and Oilers devotee. Both eagerly anticipate the upcoming season of The Office.
