GU Sisters for Christ
Vision Statement
We will be exceptional examples of Christian womanhood so that we can motivate others including each other to become not just women but virtuous women of God.
We will embody true sisterhood in Christ by sharing the love of God with one another through true fellowship.
We will rise to the higher calling God has on our lives as Christian women by utilizing our God given gifts and talents to build His kingdom.
We will walk boldly and unashamed proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ taking an uncompromising stand daily.
We will give God all the honor and all the glory for His mighty works that He will perform through us.

“We Are Our Sister’s Keeper”
We recognize that though we share a basic physical and emotional bond as women, it is through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that the “Superior” bond of sisterhood is formed. This “Superior” bond is solidified and sustained by the fruits of the Spirit, which are “Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control” (Galatians 5:22-23). With these virtues we go forth hand in hand to fulfill our commission to “preach the gospel, set the captives free, open the eyes of the blind, and heal the sick” (Isaiah 61:1). We pursue these aims through intense and unabashed evangelism, selfless service, faithful discipleship, and true fellowship, with a special focus on meeting the needs of women and the extended community. As sisters in Christ, we hold one another accountable and encourage each other, building each other up spiritually. It is our hearts’ desire to always be real with ourselves, our sisters, and others in our work representing Christ.Membership
