The Mission of Campus Ministry at the Law Center
In the Jesuit tradition of "care for the whole person," Georgetown's campus ministers continure a centuries-old tradition of providing pastoral care for students, faculty, and staff. As the nation's oldest Catholic University, Georgetown not only ministers to Catholics, but also to students of other faiths. Georgetown's Campus Ministry challenges its students, faculty, and staff to exercise their spirit, as well as their body, heart, and intellect.
Georgetown's Jesuit education calls students to integrate their faith and learning, ecouraging them to share their gifts with all the world. Campus ministry's primary mandate is to help students deepen their faith through worship, reflection, and service. Campus Ministry also provides opportunities for faculty and staff - those who educate and serve Georgetown's student body - to worship and grow in their faith.
