Student Groups
Campus Ministry student groups represent a wide diversity of traditions. Each of our chaplaincies have affiliated student groups which provide spiritual, social, and service events for their members. These groups have representatives on GUSA's Interfaith Council, participate in ecumenical and interfaith events, as well as highlight their own traditions' faith and practice. Campus Ministry recognizes that not all Georgetown University students are practitioners of the traditional Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity). In order to provide support to many of these students, Campus Ministry has helped them set up student ministry groups for their particular faith tradition. These include, the Georgetown Buddhist Sangha: Student Community, Baha'i Student Association, Sikh Student Association, Hindu Student Association, and the Later-Day Saints Student Association (Mormons). All of these ministries have participated in interfaith events with Campus Ministry, including the Interfaith Thanksgiving Service.
