After four years, Seniors are faced with the reality of moving beyond their days at Georgetown.  This retreat is a unique and tremendously rewarding way for seniors to process their past 4 years, the memories, the challenges and changes of moving forward.  It is also simply a well-earned and needed respite as Senior Week and Graduation quickly approach.  During the retreat, students consider the intangibilities of the past and present in a spiritual lens, allowing them to focus on and gain a deeper comprehension of the present.  Reflection-oriented talks are given by seniors and young alums, providing the basis for group discussions and individual reflection/meditation.  Socialization and relaxation (such as wine & cheese and bonfire gatherings) are also important and enjoyable elements of this retreat.  While some structured prayer rooted in a Catholic tradition is included, the major activities of Senior Retreat center on the universally-applicable spirituality of St. Ignatius, making the retreat open to and easily enjoyed by students of any or of no proclaimed faith and by newcomers and veterans alike.  The celebration of Mass and the opportunity for Reconciliation is available for all those interested.

Retreat Fee: $35
(Please ensure that you read our Retreat Payment Policy.  Financial Assistance is available upon request. Please contact us at retreats@georgetown.edu to find out more.)
