ESCAPE Program Information

All ESCAPE retreats take place at the Shepherd's Spring Outdoor Ministry Center in beautiful Sharpsburg, MD.
Freshman ESCAPE participants stay in hotel-style rooms with private bathrooms and comfortable beds. Transfer students stay in very comfortable cabins (think summer camp, but way more fun!). Each ESCAPE includes a generous amount of free-time to play kick-ball, go for a jog, catch up with your new friends, relax, take a nap, hike the trails and caves of the C & O Canal or take a walk to the Potomac River. There is so much to do--the choice is yours!

At Georgetown, we truly hope that you will further your personal search to become "women and men for others." ESCAPE retreats include the opportunity for personal and group reflection based off a 450 year-old model of living and reflecting found in Jesuit education. On an overnight, you'll hear from upperclass team leaders who will talk about what their experiences were as first-year students.

Here is some more information that will come in handy as you prepare for your ESCAPE:

Please join us at the buses Friday or Saturday at 3:30 for a 3:50 departure. You will return by 7:00 the following day. We look forward to seeing you soon.
