Protestant Ministry
About Us
From its beginning in the eighteenth century, Georgetown University has welcomed Protestant students into its community. Protestant Ministry provides a welcoming environment for undergraduate and graduate students as well as other members of the university community to grow in their faith and share their spiritual journey with other Christians.
Protestant Ministry serves a diverse community, honoring the religious traditions of its members while affirming their oneness in Christ. The protestant chaplains minister to the many branches of protestant Christianity through Sunday worship on campus, bible studies, prayer groups, fellowship groups, service projects, and retreats.
If you are interested in becoming more involved with Protestant Ministry, please fill out the Protestant Ministry Registration Form; we also encourage you to join our Facebook group: Georgetown Protestant Ministry. Of course, you are also invited to attend any of our events and services.

Worship Services
About Our Services
Protestant Ministry offers two inter-denominational worship services each Sunday during the academic year. Whatever your worship preference and background, you will find a worship home on campus diverse in style and content. Each week students from numerous denominational traditions gather together for singing, reading of scripture, preaching of God's Word, and celebration of Communion. All are welcome; please join us!Sunday Worship Services
All worship services are held in St. William's Chapel (Copley Hall, Main Campus) with a fellowship hour immediately following in the Copley Multi-Purpose Room (basement level).
4 pm Traditional Worship with Communion: Share with us in an innovative service led by Rev. Bryant M. Oskvig that utilizes some of the great traditions in worship to meet the needs of today’s Christian students.
6:30 pm Worship in the Gospel Tradition: Join Georgetown University's Gospel Choir and Rev. Constance C. Wheeler for a contemporary gospel worship service of praise and celebration for all Christian students.
