God’s Light and Love:

A Six Week Retreat in Daily Life on Campus

Inspired by students’ desires to develop a deeper relationship with God, the God’s Light and Love Retreat is a six-week retreat in daily life on campus where students pray and journal every day with encouragement and support of the community. Grounded in the spirituality of St. Ignatius, this retreat offers students opportunities to learn various methods of Ignatian prayer, such as imaginative prayer, Lectio Divina, and the Examen. Students pray with scripture every day and meet individually with Jesuits, chaplains or other spiritual directors once a week for spiritual conversation. We begin and end the retreat on campus with opening and closing sessions where all retreatants come together as a community of faith, hope and love.
