Rev. Cara Rockhill

Rev.’d Cara Rockhill (she/her) is the Episcopal Chaplain and part of the Protestant Life ministry team. Rev. Cara tries to help everyone see how God is relevant today, through interreligious and ecumenical engagement, finding God in the moments we are in, and by advocating for mental health and neurodiversity. She is a native to the DMV, having been raised in Southern Maryland and ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington. Before discerning her call to ministry, Rev. Cara attended Towson University, earned an MSCM from Kennesaw State University, and a JD from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. She received her MDiv at Wesley Theological Seminary and a certificate in Anglican Studies from Virginia Theological Seminary. She is the former Young Adult Missioner and Vicar of the Cathedral of St. John for the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island, and spent several years working in parishes in the Boston area. When not at Georgetown, you can probably find her at Washington Spirit matches, searching for fossils along the Chesapeake Bay, trying to make peace with hiking, or getting into good trouble of all kinds.
