Religious Services & Sacred Spaces

Campus Ministry supports Roman Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Orthodox Christian, Hindu and Buddhist worship services. In addition, we have resources for weddings, infant baptisms and Catholic initiation. To find out more, select a menu link to the left.

If you are interested in private meditation, the John Main Center is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. If you are interested in silent group meditation, open meditation in held from 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m.

Protestant

Our Protestant community will not be holding summer services on campus. We welcome you to visit our Associated Denominational Ministries: Georgetown Episcopal Ministry,Georgetown Lutheran Church Fellowship,Georgetown Presbyterian Church, and Friends Meeting of Washington

Jewish

Our Jewish community will not be holding summer services on campus. Makóm will be open and available all summer for private prayer. Please contact Sarah Holland if you need access to the space.

Muslim

Our Muslim community will be holding services from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Muslim Prayer Room in Copley Hall. The Mulim Prayer Rooms in Copley Hall and at the Medical school are open all summer. Please contact Sarah Holland if you need access to the room on Main Campus and Deborah Bassard for access to the room at the Medical School.

Orthodox Christian

Our Hindu community will not be holding summer services on campus.

Law Campus Services

All services are located in St. Thomas More Chapel, on the first floor of McDonough Hall.
