Ada Gonzalez is the Assistant Director for Catholic Engagement. In her role, Ada works to connect with students from diverse Catholic backgrounds. Originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, she attended Loyola University Maryland for both her undergraduate and graduate studies, where she focused on exploring the intersections of faith, justice, culture, and the relationship between identity and theological practice. Ada has a deep sense of service and a passion for advocating for social justice, particularly in marginalized communities. Before joining Georgetown, she was a high school theology teacher at Don Bosco Cristo Rey, where she discovered her passion for accompanying young people on their spiritual and academic journeys. In her free time, Ada enjoys good food, celebrating her Salvadoran heritage, and spending time with her cat.
