Sonia Robledo

Sonia is the Program Coordinator for the Mission and Ministry at Georgetown Law. In this role, she helps build an inclusive campus environment centered on connection, community, and interfaith dialogue through programs and other initiatives, from Trivia Night to retreats to prayer services. Before joining Georgetown, Sonia worked with the Embassy of the Holy See in Washington, DC, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and the Fundación Igino Giordani-FOCO, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and development of elementary school children in under-resourced communities in the Dominican Republic. As a longtime member of the Focolare community, Sonia has developed deep experience in conflict resolution and interreligious dialogue.  She also brings to her role strong administrative and cross-cultural interpersonal skills, as well as a sustained commitment to living a life of service and compassion amid the challenges of our times.  Her professional training further amplifies her capacity to listen and build relationships of understanding.  Originally from Argentina, Sonia earned a certificate in music from the Instituto Superior del Profesorado de Música de la Provincia del Chaco and a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
